After all, the door was wide open

It's rare to find a church with a door unlocked, much less with the front doors wide open and inviting, as sad as that seems. But that's what happened today. Paul and I were driving around Webster Groves, my new camera in hand that I hadn't anticipated buying earlier in the day but Paul wanted to take me to check out a camera store and the price was right. I chose a used Nikon Z50, knowing nothing about it. In addition to the price, I had been intrigued by mirrorless cameras for their small size and weight. I had to make sure I didn't regret my impulse buy so we explored a bit. It was a beautiful day and Our Holy Redeemer's front doors were wide open so we walked right in.

I couldn't find a cornerstone, but I guessed that she was built in the late 60s. I was only a little off- 1963. I love a midcentury church.
