Circle City Steeples Launch Party

Last Friday (the 26th) our publisher, Vedere, hosted a little launch party for Circle City Steeples. One wall of the gallery was covered with photos I've taken of the churches included in the book. It was so neat to see them all hanging there. We had a wonderful time and it was really humbling to meet so many people that supported our project with such excitement.

I personally want to thank my friends who have been excited and invested in this project. I've had friends who have absolutely no connection to the churches I've photographed but were over the moon to be able to order and receive a book, just because I photographed it. And then I have the friends who do live here and were able to come out and celebrate the book with me and see their churches captured and memorialized in print.

I also have to thank my husband, Paul, who has supported this project from the start and has tolerated dozens of boxes of books stored in our garage. He was also the muscle in getting the books, photos, and food into the gallery for the party. Without him, attendees would have had no beer and no snacks. He's the true unsung hero.
