Grace Lutheran- Columbus, IN
Modern and Beautiful
It's been a while since posting on here. I've been taking a much needed break from social media so it's a great time for me to utilize this space instead.
A couple months ago Paul and I took a little day trip to Columbus, Indiana. It's known for its modern architecture. I've seen several of its beautiful churches and we decided to check out a new one. Grace Lutheran was built in 1966. Upon entering the church building, you will walk through a bright stained-glass walkway that leads to the main part of the church. The sanctuary features large skylights that intersect at the very center. I was lucky enough to hear the organist practicing while I was shooting. Above the altar is an enormous wooden cross, reminding worshipers of the focus of the Lutheran faith; Jesus.
