Last week I dropped off some prints to Vedere Press's art gallery on Mass Ave in Indy. Stop in sometime and see their space! They have lots of really great artists featured and everything is available to buy. The gallery serves as a space to highlight artists' work and promote their books.
As for the book I'm working on with Lee of Old Churches Indy, it's going so well! I'm pushing myself to get all the churches photographed by the end of June. Then the rest of the summer will be filled with editing, re-shooting as needed, making final selections, and working on the layout of the book. We're hoping to have pre-order available in the fall and we expect to sell the books for around $45. If all goes as planned, books will be delivered before Christmas. 10% of our proceeds will go to benefit Sacred Places Indiana, a preservation project.
It's so surreal that I get to work on this project and photograph all these beautiful spaces. To say that it's been a joy is an understatement.
